OpenSGolf is a free, open source engine for the golf course building game Sid Meier's SimGolf (2002). Lay out holes, plant trees and dig ponds, put up a clubhouse and shops, hire staff, and watch your golfers play your course, chat, complain and come back for more.

It comes with its own complete set of free graphics and sounds, so you can start playing right away. If you own SimGolf, tap Use my SimGolf files... on the title screen and pick a .zip of your SimGolf folder or the folder itself: OpenSGolf copies the files into its own storage and then plays with the original art and sounds. No game files are included.

With every option at its default it aims to play exactly like the original. On top of that it offers:

Touch controls made for phones and tablets, and game controller support

Optional enhanced, high-resolution graphics

Optional fixes for bugs of the original game

Optional interface helpers and extras, all off until you turn them on

A course editor for your own scenarios, and content packs (mods)
