DKR-R adapts the explicit HUD anchor classification and draw-only slide
behavior in game/src/game_ui.c, and the horizontal-offset rule in
platform/hud_layout.c, into its own recomp patch callbacks and RT64 adapter.
Permission to use this work was supplied by the DKR-R project owner, who
reports permission from Golden Balloon's owner. No game assets are included.
Golden Balloon is credited in About DKR-R and THIRD_PARTY.md.

Upstream provenance distinction: platform/ is first-party MIT work. game/
derives from the Diddy Kong Racing decompilation, with Golden Balloon's
NATIVE_PORT adaptations; upstream explicitly does not place game/ under
its first-party MIT license. The original game remains under its respective
rights holders' ownership. This notice does not relicense that game code.
